Whether the year is "Two Thousand and Ten" or "Twenty Ten," it is a great new start to a great new year. January is always a great time to be thinking of and planning for a spring project. We have lots of books on building projects, storage ideas, gardening and outdoor planning. It will help spring come just a little faster if you dream!
We also have lots of items to just help with the “Cabin Fever” syndrome. Exciting books, Cd-Roms, DVDs, and much more. Come check us out.

- * JANUARY 6 – 3:00 – 5:00 PM- Dawna Jo Kiesling from the Highland
- County Extension Office will join us with lots of ideas and
- take-homes for healthier eating and stretching those food dollars.
- * JANUARY 7 – 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM - - STROKE SUPPORT GROUP- this group is for stroke survivors, caregivers, or families of stroke victims. It will be the 1st Thursday of each month and is presented by the Greenfield Area Medical Center.
- * JANUARY 18 – Library will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
- * JANUARY 20 – 5:00 PM - THE BOOKWORMS (adult book discussion group) –The January selection will be “Dark Horse” by Tami Hoag. Stop by, pick up a book & join us. Everyone is welcome.
- * JANUARY 25 – 6:30 PM – GENEALOGY CLUB – This group meets monthly to learn more about genealogy research. This month Harry Turner, retired McClain Principal, will be the speaker. His presentation will be on the Carmelites of Carmel, OH. Everyone welcome.
- * We have some great weekly Storytimes including stories and a craft or activity.:
- Tuesday– 11:00 am - 2’s & 3’s & caregiver
- Thursday – 6:00 pm – 4’s – 6’s.
This month our display cabinet has a wonderful collection of Blue & White China. It’s a great display to come and browse.
