A Former Tavern and stagecoach stop that now houses the Highland County Historical Society.  A treasure trove of 200 years of rare collectables: period clothing, textiles and quilts, fine furnishings, silver, china, musical instruments, documents and books.   Also includes a collection of primitive farm and kitchen tools and a local Hall of Fame in tribute to notable persons from Highland County.


HOURS:  Fridays 1-5 PM and  Sundays 1-4 PM
Group Tours By Appointment.

No Admission Charge, but donations are welcome.

Fridays 1-5 PM    Saturdays 1-4 PM   and  Sundays 1-4 pm

  Nov. 7 at 1-5 PM Highland House Open House - 6 Local Clubs will be decorating Highland House this year.
