Merry Money 2008 and Happy Reading
Parents! Our Merry Money Fall Reading Promotion at the Library is a neat way to teach your children about spending and gift giving at the same time as it encourages them to read.

In 2008,  each of the Highland County District Library Branches is again promoting reading by giving out “Merry Money” to the children for the amount of reading that they do. “Merry Money” can be used by the children to buy gifts for their families (or themselves) at the Library’s “Christmas Shop” (Only on the Days and times specified . )

We will have lots of nice gifts for children to purchase for those special people on their Christmas list. Stop by the Library with your children to pick up their log and get started earning their library "Merry Money"!

Each Library is different, so Merry Money is not interchangeable.
