West Virginia Vital Research Records Search - Birth, Death and Marriage records:   Death Records for 1917-1957 for all 55 counties, the birth and Marriage and birth records are mainly from Calhoun, Gilmer, Hardy, Harrison, Mineral and Pendleton Counties and probably not beyond 1930.  A Free Resource with actual images of registries or certificates included where possible.

Books are still a major resource for Genealogists.  If we do not have what you are looking for and cannot borrow it, And IF you don't mind paying,  try: Auctions, online and otherwise may turn up historical information Ebay sometimes has books of interest.   And Used bookstores can be another helpful source for the books you want.
