The Fall season is coming very soon. School has already begun. Summer is just about a memory, and we are planning for the end of the year. We are decorating in oranges and golds, and have a great F-A-L-L prize give-away – put in a drawing slip each time you visit the library. Also, fall is the season for “Fall Cleaning” especially for those of us who missed the “Spring Cleaning”. We have so many great books to help you with your tasks: “The One-Minute organizer”; “The One- Minute Cleaner”; “Going Green: 100’s of money saving ideas”; “Throw out 50 things”; “Real Simple cleaning”; & “Keeping Work Simple”, and if they don’t work, there’s “How to Cheat at Cleaning”. Also, some great new painting ideas. And, if you are painting, we are not only here with great ideas, but stop by the circulation desk as you check out and ask for your free paint roller cover.

Our Summer Reading Adventure was GREAT! We had a total of 528 participate in our summer program. We also had 65 signed up for our Library Camp. The following businesses provided fun reading incentives: Petland, McDonalds, Bob Evans, Subway, Burger King, Dominos, Star Cinema, Robbins Village Florist, Weller’s Plumbing, Long’s Retreat, Kings Island, Newport Aquarium, Cincinnati Reds, COSI, CoCo Key Resort, The Glitz, Kathy Decker, Greene’s Automotive & your library.
