Under the leadership of Warren Wright, local nurseryman, the Hastings family helped manicure the Lynchburg Library landscaping.  Daughters, Melissa Lanoue, Sara and Jason McLaughlin, and Becky Hastings were part of the crew. It looks so much Nicer!

Carolyn Hastings, one of the new Lynchburg Village Council members, found out that, because of the need to cut costs, the Lynchburg Branch Library has had to drop some of its periodical & newspaper subscriptions. Many Lynchburg citizens regularly use these items to meet their informational needs. Without being asked, Mrs. Hastings is now donating one of our most popular & missed items (the Wilmington News Journal). She also volunteers at the library as often as she can. Thank you, Mrs. Hastings!

And Lynchburg Library would also like to thank the 3Arts Club and the Lynchburg Masonic Lodge #178 for their donations toward library programs.
