At Your Library

On Monday March 9th, the Ohio Library Information Network lost the mail server where many of our staff had their email. It was not recoverable.  If you have been waiting for a staff member to get back to you by email, you may wish to contact them again or call their branch.

 What's New with Our RESOURCES:

  • You can now link directly to the Children's EBooks in our EBook Catalog at  Ohioebooks.org/kids
  • And you can go directly to the Young Adult EBooks at Ohioebooks.org/teens
  • Also in our eBook catalog there are several new possibilities in Settings under your account after you have logged in.

You can change the age range of books that you normally browse.
For example you can choose to see only books for Young Adult to General Adult while you are logged in.

If you've been waiting for a book to come in, but are going on a camping trip with no Internet access, you can now suspend that hold for a period of time without entirely losing your place in line.  (You can also use this feature on our regular catalog.)

Learning Express Library on the Ohio Web Library Resource list has been upgraded.  The old version is still available to allow you to finish any tutorials on which you were already working.   What is it? An interactive online learning platform of practice tests and tutorial courses designed to help students and adult learners succeed on the academic and licensing tests. You create your own personalized and private account to track your progress.

Note : Workforce Skills for 21st Century Success is a separate product and contains different content, though the interface looks similar to the new LearningExpress Library. What is it? Workforce Skills for 21st Century Success provides resources to boost basic workplace and job search skills, and prepare yourself for advanced occupational training. This interactive, self-paced learning approach allows you to learn at your convenience.
