As part of the library's summer reading club, kids will use crafts and visuals to talk with a presenter from the Cincinnati Observatory about the possibility of life outside of Earth! 

There is no charge, but pre-registration starts in mid-May.

As part of summer reading at the Lynchburg Branch, kids can attend this fun & educational program free of charge! They will learn about nebulas with hands-on activities and interaction with staff from the Cincinnati Observatory. (For those who don't know, a nebula is an enormous cloud of dust and gas occupying the space between stars and acting as a nursery for new stars). 

Don't miss this chance to show your kids one of the mysteries of outer space!

Magical Tales with Tails - Lynchburg

Jim’s new show, Tales With Tails, is all about animals and animal stories. Aesop's Fables, pets, farm and zoo animals will all make an appearance. Fun for children and parents alike, this exciting show features stories and books mixed with magic, all about animals and books with animal characters. 

Dog Agility/Obedience Demo - Lynchburg

Presented by Dave Ackerman and the K-9 Co. 4H Dog Club. Watch some amazing dogs go through their obedience paces and show off their agility chops. NOTE: this program will be held at the Old School Park on Pearl Street. Parking is available at the library parking lot and on Pearl Street at the park.
