Hillsboro Summer Reading Program Begins

This year our theme is "Libraries Rock!" with a focus on music. We will have reading programs for children, teens, and adults. All three categories will have a weekly drawing to sign up for throughout the summer.

For the children's program, children age 2 through 6th grade are welcome to participate. Kids must checkout 10 books to receive a prize. They do not have to check out 10 books at once, their total will be kept track of on their reading playlist. Renewals do not count toward their checkout total. They have the opportunity to earn 5 prizes and, if they choose to do a second reading playlist, they can earn a bonus prize.

The teen program is open to 7th graders to 12th Grade.
